Founded by seventh-generation circus artist Maxim Popazov and fourth-generation circus artist Julia Makarova, the Vegas Variety Circus Festival brings generations of circus tradition together with exceptional contemporary artistry from around the world.
Across four nights and six performances, international artists compete before a distinguished jury for Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, creating opportunities for professional recognition, connection, and career advancement while bringing world-class circus artistry to Las Vegas audiences.
The festival also features Stage Debut, an educational performance program presented in collaboration with Vazquez Integral Arts (ViA), led by Adam and Lisanna Vazquez. Stage Debut gives aspiring circus artists of all ages and experience levels the opportunity to step into the ring beneath the Big Top, share their artistry with a live audience, and experience the excitement of performing in a professional circus setting.
